Enforcement

Cosmetic and related legislation is enforced by local Trading Standards Officers (TSOs). For companies operating in more than one area of the UK, contact your Home Authority.

The Home Authority will usually be the Trading Standards Department in whose local authority area the decision-making centre of the business is based. The relevant contact details can be found by looking under the local council entry in the phone book.
